Overview:

Join our team at Kokoro Assisted Living as a Maintenance Person. We are an Assisted Living Facility, and as a Maintenance Person, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as repairing electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC systems, and other mechanical equipment.
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment to identify issues and implement solutions promptly.
• Perform general facilities maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and functional work environment.
• Supervise and coordinate external contractors for specialized maintenance projects.
• Utilize schematics and logic controllers to diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently.
• Welding tasks as needed for repairs or improvements.
• Assist with residential painting projects when required.

Skills:

• Proficiency in electrical systems maintenance.
• Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Experience with schematics and logic controllers.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate maintenance activities effectively.
• Proficient in English for clear communication with team members.
• Previous experience in facilities maintenance is preferred.
• Residential painting skills are a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.67 – $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 hours per week

Schedule:

• Flexible
• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift

Work Location: In person
